Prescott Contra Dances
Usually the first Friday of the month at the Grace Sparkes Memorial Activity Center, 824 East Gurley Street, Prescott. The lesson starts at 7:30 p.m. and the dance is from 8 to 10:30. We invite all dancers beginners and experienced alike. Partners are definitely not required. We feature live music from our local bands, Iona and Wild Thyme, together with other bands from around the state. The dance schedule is shown below. Need more information? Prescott English Country Dance

Cottonwood Contra Dances
These dances are on the third Saturday of the month throughout the year. They are generally open band and open mic. Contact Deb. at 928-774-5936 for information.

Picture a small town with an old rock-walled building with a wood-over-wood-beam dance floor. Hear three of Arizona's best bands, follow the calls of two terrific callers. Cottonwood is a short distance from Phoenix, Prescott, and Flagstaff (sign up for rideshare, we'll coordinate). Its elevation is high desert with beautiful vistas, great hometown restaurants and family owned hotels (sign up for roomshare, we'll coordinate).
